INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION


Instructor certification training is now scheduled as a private training class for individuals or departments and scheduled according to your availability. This allows for plenty of interaction and discussion over the course, which was difficult to do for larger classes that were combining multiple departments. It also allows more flexibility for those who were not available on the dates we scheduled for multi-departmental training classes we scheduled in the past.

Instructor certification training for Core Resiliency & Preemptive Suicide Intervention is a 3-day/23 hour course at a cost of $600 for 1 person & $300 for each additional person.

  • What courses are offered?

    We offer courses in Core Resiliency, Preemptive Suicide Intervention, Marital Resiliency, and Anger Management in Public Safety. Check our training events page to see which of these is scheduled for 2025.

  • What are the qualifications to take a course?

    Our courses are offered to public safety professionals, mental health professionals, judicial professionals, medical professionals, social service professionals, and professionals otherwise approved for registration.

  • Do you offer CE credits for your courses?

    Yes, we provide certificates of completion for all students, and licensed certification for instructors. We also provide supporting documents for first responders to apply through their department sponsorship.

  • Can you provide travel arrangements?

    Yes, we have a list of nearby hotels with good ratings and fair prices. Our training location is about 35 minutes from DFW Airport.

  • Do you offer group discounts?

    Yes, we offer discounts for groups of more than 3. Ask about them if you are considering training a group.
